Carter turned 3 this past weekend. We decided to have a Backyardigan themed "backyard" BBQ. Unfortunately the weather had other plans. We watched the weather the whole week, and the weather wasn't looking good for the weekend. The forcast was calling for 10 - 20 inches of snow! Luckily we didn't get hit with as much snow as predicted, but it was cold, rainy, and wet all Friday and Saturday. My parents drove in from Nebraska on Friday, beating the worst of the snow, and Jamie's mom flew in Friday morning.
Saturday morning we went bowling. It was Carter's first time bowling and he LOVED it. He started out needing help with the ball, but after a few times he didn't want or need our help. It was sooooo cute!
