This past weekend, we went to Omaha to have Carter baptized. We figured it would be easier for us to travel, than try to get all of our family down to us.
Friday night, all of Jamie's brothers and their families got together for dinner at Jamie's mom's house.
Carter quickly found the steps, and was determined to climb to the top.
Carter had so much fun watching all of his cousins play.
Carter found some golf clubs that are just the right size for him.
Carter was so tired by the end of the night, he would let anybody hold him. Here he is with Uncle Jeff.
I'm not for sure who is more tired, Carter or Jamie...
The next day, my parents, brother Scott, sister-in-law Amanda, and nieces Kali, Kiara, and Kassidy drove in from Hastings, and we went to the zoo.
Scott, Kassidy, Kali, Jamie, and Kiara waiting for my parents to get out of the new Desert exhibit at the zoo.
Kali walking on the bridge next to the waterfall in the Jungle.
Jamie's turn
I can't tell if Carter is laughing or crying in the picture.
Hey...who let that animal out??? :)
Carter's favorite animal at the zoo was the giraffe...he would point at them and make his grunting noise to tell you to look.
Granny Di, did you see the giraffe???
Hanging out with daddy...before...
falling asleep.
Carter also loved watching the sharks and sea turtles swim in the aquarium. The aquarium has tanks that you walk underneath. Carter was in awe.
After the zoo, Jamie took Carter swimming in the hotel pool. Carter did not enjoy the swim very much...I think it was just too chilly for him.
