My baby turned 2!!!!!

Carter turned 2 on Friday.

We had popsicles on Thursday for his class.

Thursday evening, my dad and step-mom came in from Nebraska to help celebrate Carter's birthday.

My parents got Carter a tricycle for his birthday. Jamie and my dad had to put it together. While I worked for about 3 hours decorating Carter's cupcakes for his party.
The finished products! They did turn out pretty good, even if they were a pain in my butt!

Carter opned his presents on Saturday morning. Jamie and I got him a sand/water table.

Here are the cupcakes at the party. We did his party at a local park. It turned out to be a really nice day yesterday.

While we were waiting for people to start coming, Carter was running and tripped on the sidewalk, totally ate it, and hit his face on the picnic table...there was blood, and tears, but it wasn't long before Carter was ready to play.

AFter the party, he came home and crashed, but not without his balloon!
After waking up, he had presents to open from his grandma Carol, Jamie's mom. She came down to help celebrate too!

He was soooo tired last night, what a long day he had.

It is so hard to believe that Carter is already 2. He continues to amaze me everyday with all the new things he is learning. Although I am bracing myself for a fun-filled 3rd year of life!
