We went a Butterfly Festival in Southlake today. Carter was a little freaked out at first, but then felt a bit more comfortable being around the butterflies. They had sticks with watermelon on the end for you to catch the butterflies.
Finally Carter got the hang of it, and would catch them on his own.
He got so excited to watch them fly off of his stick.
One landed on my flip-flop.
I was having some video trouble, I was trying to get all 4 into one video...but it cut off some of the audio. So, here is all three of them. Be sure to pay close attention to Jamie freaking out about the butterfly...he is such a wuss :)!
